As this situation evolves over the immediate foreseeable future, we will attempt to provide you regular and updated communications as necessary. ## If You are Sick If you are running a fever, coughing, sneezing, or suffering from acute respiratory distress, you should stay home as you will not be permitted in the office or on any jobsite. You must be symptom free and fever free for “at least” 24 hours before returning to the office or any jobsite. Please contact your supervisor noting that you will be absent. In addition, if you have recently traveled to or become aware that that you have been in an area where the virus is spreading, and you develop a fever, a cough or difficulty breathing (see Symptoms and Signs of a person with the COVID-19 virus below), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends you call a health care professional for guidance on whether to be tested for the COVID-19 virus. ## If You are Diagnosed or Exposed If you are diagnosed or believe you have been in contact with someone that has been diagnosed with coronavirus or are instructed by a medical provider to be tested for the COVID-19 virus, we request that you immediately contact [Contact Name and #] on a confidential basis so a plan can be put into place. ## Symptoms and Signs of a person with the COVID-19 Virus Reported illnesses have ranged from mild symptoms to severe illness and death for confirmed coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases. The following symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure. (This is based on what has been seen previously as the incubation period of MERS-CoV viruses.) - Fever - Cough - Shortness of breath *Note: Your specific company responses may vary based on your organization’s circumstances.
