In our attempt to “break through the noise” below is the most current information and information links regarding what you need to know and actions you should take to best navigate through the coronavirus issues impacting your business.
The CDC issued updated recommendations to shorten isolation and quarantine periods for the general population for both vaccinated and unvaccinated people on Monday, December 27, 2021. According to the CDC these changes are motivated by science demonstrating that the majority of SARS-CoV-2 transmission occurs early in the course of illness, generally in the 1-2 days prior to onset of symptoms and the 2-3 days after. Below are the current isolation and quarantines established by the CDC.
If You Test Positive for COVID-19 (Isolate) - Everyone, regardless of vaccination status.
If you have a fever, continue to stay home until your fever resolves.
If You Were Exposed1 to Someone with COVID-19 (Quarantine)
